Service Committee: Coordinates PTA efforts to help meet the needs of any Brooks student whose family is struggling or has encountered some type of emergency situation. BackPack Buddies and our Winter Coat & Gift Card Drive are examples of the work of this committee.
Book Stop: Program rewards students for good deeds by giving them a gently used book. The Book Stop opens two days per week, from 8:45-9:15 AM. This program will return in the 2017-2018 school year.
School Store: The PTA operates a school store one day per week to allow students to purchase school supply items at a reasonable cost. This program will return in the 2017-2018 school year.
Cultural Arts/Writers in Residence: PTA books a season of cultural arts performances and hires writers-in-residence for the students.
Diversity and Inclusion: This team is responsible for building meaningful relationships among a diverse representation of the Brooks community to ensure the Brooks PTA is proactive and responsive to all students and families.
Spirit Items: The PTA sells Brooks spirit items (t-shirts, sweatshirts, magnets, etc) to the Brooks community.
Variety Show: PTA plans and executes a Variety Show for 3rd-5th Graders.
Online School Supply Program: Program allows families to order school supply kits online prior to the start of school.
