Winter Weather Conditions and Clothing Recommendations

Please be advised of the following WCPSS clothing guidelines for all students with regards to Cold Weather.  Should your student not dress appropriately, they will not be permitted to go outside with the rest of their class, and will, instead, stay inside with a lower grade.
Please note that if the temperature is under 45 degrees, students MUST be in long pants, closed-toe shoes, and a heavy jacket.  A sweatshirt or zip-up hoodie is not considered a jacket.  If your child does not have a jacket, please let your student’s teacher know immediately so that the school or PTA can look into finding a winter jacket for your child.
